This lesson on percentages was created to help students apply math skills in real world scenarios. Students were asked to pretend they were going to a restaurant as a group. Students explored tax and tips  in order to enhance their understanding of financial literacy. By solving multi-step problems, they will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for percent proportions.
